What is Hòfi Carolina? - Hòfi Carolina or  “Carolina Orchard”  is a high quality boutique style “Vacation Experience Club” in Curacao, Dutch Caribbean. The Hofi Carolina homes are situated amidst a private tropical fruit tree and herbal plantation. Owners enjoy home grown fresh fruit & produce daily. The development consists of (4) one-of-a-kind Architect-designed homes. The homes are completely furnished, tastefully decorated and fully outfitted with everything you need for a relaxing hassle free vacation.

Hofi Carolina is located within 5-10 minutes of the most beautiful beaches of Curacao - Porto Marie, Kas Abao, Playa Lagun, Playa Jeremi, and Kenapa Grandi. Your comfortable bed is made - Just pack your suitcase and come home to your Manta Escape.

Most owners visit their home just a few times each year. If there is a problem, you are far away. ~How about buying only the portion you need, and leave management to professionals?

The Hofi Carolina homes are offered in co-ownership format. The modern way to buy and own a Vacation Home. Manta Escapes co-owners enjoy all the benefits and deal with none of the hassles that come with vacation home ownership - at a level of cost that is within reach. The homes are completely outfitted and tastefully decorated. Hòfi Carolina is comprehensively managed by the Developer, Manta Escapes. Whether you are coming or going, all you have to do is pack your suitcase. Manta Escapes makes sure the property is in top notch condition at all times.

How does it work? - No different then if you and some friends wanted to buy a sail boat. Our primary goal is to provide a high quality, hassle free gateway to Caribbean Vacation Home Ownership. To offer a great value that is attainable, and makes financial and practical sense for many prospective buyers. Our Co-owning structure makes this an attainable reality for buyers for whom this may normally be financially out of reach, impractical, or both.

The basics: Each Manta Escapes home is owned by a separate legal entity. The co-owners are shareholders in the entity that owns the home. Each home has 8 shares. Each co-owner owns a minimum of one share (1/8th) up to a maximum four shares (1/2). To preserve quality of the owner experience, the maximum co-owner group size per home is limited to 8.

Expenses: All expenses are shared in proportion to shares owned. If you own 1/8th of the shares, you only pay for 1/8th of maintenance, insurance, property taxes, and outfitting.

Property management: Manta Escapes assists the co- owners with all angles of vacation home ownership as part of our all-inclusive comprehensive property management formula. Maintenance, insurance policies, utilities, property tax payments, cleaning, trouble shooting are all handled by your home’s management company. There is nothing you need to do except pack your suitcase and come home.

Scheduling of stays: To make sure all owners can enjoy their home in proportion to shares owned, we use a proprietary scheduling software. In its most basic form, 1/8th share entitles you to 45 days per year. This is not a hard limit however. If your home is available, you are free to spend additional time, as often as you want.

Selling your shares: Co-owner’s are free to sell their shares at any time. Owners set the selling price themselves like with any other home. As a service to our co-owners, we can assist you with the sale, or you you can do it yourself.

Not “time share”- Co-ownership should not be confused with “Time share”. With Co-ownership you buy an appreciating asset.- Real Estate. With “times share” you only pay a fee for a “use package”, but you do not own an asset, and “time shares” are often shared by 25-50 different “users”.

A Manta Escape home will never exceed 8 co-owners. To maintain an experience of the highest quality and property value for all co-owners.

Enjoy our private tropical fruit tree orchard -The four new Design Homes are for sale situated amidst a private tropical fruit tree orchard, and herbal garden. Co- owners can enjoy as much freshly picked organic fruit and produce as they want. Pick up a beautiful box of produce at the barn and enjoy…. Each home is surrounded by beautiful tropical landscaping. The development is built on the site of a former historic Dutch Landhuis, and a centuries old irrigation water cistern is present on the property. There is also a functional water well on the site which is used for orchard irrigation.

The homes are in close proximity of the historic plantations Landhuis Klein Sta. Martha and Landhuis Groot Sta. Martha. Hòfi Carolina is situated adjacent to the Santa Martha Bay and is just minutes away from the most beautiful natural beaches on the island such as Cas Abao, Playa Lagun, Jeremi, Kenepa, and all the best dive sites. Local natural monuments and national parks such as the beautiful Christoffel mountain park, and Shete boka are close by as well.

The Hofi Carolina Architecture reflects elements of the traditional local “Landhuis” (Plantation Home) style combined with modern conveniences. The Architecture tastefully marries the best of Curacao, Dutch Historical Architecture, as well as Leeward Island, and Global Tropical Architecture. Beautiful interior and exterior finishes and refined Architectural detailing create a magnificent atmosphere. Large wrap around patios facilitate a true indoor-outdoor living experience.
